Cueva del Agua is situated just outside the borders of Charco del Palo near Mala.
Its is an eroded sea cave connected by a tunnel to the sea. a so called “Pozo de agua salada”
This coastal cave is originated by the erosion of the sea to undermine the holocenic lava fields from Las Calderas de Guatiza.
Just near to the coast, a collapse of the ceiling of the cave has formed a circular pool of seawater, almost 20 meters in diameter.
Length of the tunnel is approximately 20m. It is not know if the tunnel is continuing further into the landscape.
